Top Dealer Award Categories

Winners were recognised for the following award types and core criteria:

Recognises the top dealers with at least four reviews and an average star rating of 4.5 or higher in 2024

Recognises the top 100 dealers who have the highest percentage of inventory rated as a 'Good' or 'Great' deal in 2024

How to know if you won

Dealerships that have been named a 2025 CarGurus Top Dealer will receive an email with details on Wednesday, August 6th. Those being honoured will also receive a physical mailer outlining details of their win. Benefits for winners on a full-service CarGurus Listings package include:

• Visibility on CarGurus: Winners will have on-site badging added to their VDPs as well as on their dealer inventory pages so that millions of car shoppers will be able to recognise award-winning dealers online.
• Online & In-store assets: A free plaque and banner available for redemption to display in their dealership, digital award assets, and more.

• Top Rated Dealer: Deliver great customer service and collect 5-star rating reviews
• Top Value Dealer: Price your inventory competitively so it earns a 'Good' or 'Great' rating

To be eligible for any award, dealers must:

• Have active inventory on CarGurus
• Be free of warnings or penalisations for 2 years
• Have no fraudulent reviews removed in the past 2 years
